Alumni
Congratulations on your graduation!
As alumni, you have two options to keep your UCI email active after you graduate.
Option 1: Keep Your Gmail
Do you want to keep using an @uci.edu email address? You can keep your UCI Gmail account and still be able to send and receive from a UCI address.
Sign Up for Gmail, if needed
If you haven’t already signed up for UCI Gmail, you must do so within 1 year from your date of graduation. If you miss this deadline, you will not be able to sign up after that time.
Annual Account Renewal
Once a year you must renew your account to keep it active for another year. OIT will send you several reminders, so keep an eye out for this email. Simply click the link in the email or use the link below and follow the steps to renew the account. Failure to do so will cause your account to be suspended and eventually deleted.
Renew your UCI Google Account
UCI Google Workspace
You will also get to keep using your UCI Google Workspace account. However, you will be limited to 5 GB of storage.
Option 2: Set up Alunmi Email Forwarding
You can opt to forward your UCI email (UCInetID@uci.edu) to a personal off-campus account. You will still receive emails sent to your UCI email address.
