The Basics
The first time you use an MH command (probably "inc"), MH will create a
directory called 'Mail' in your home
(login) directory. All your mail will be stored in directories (called
folders) beneath this one. It
will also create a file in your home directory called '.mh_profile'. It
is a file that allows you to tailor your MH environment. We'll discuss
this more later.
Here are the basic MH commands:
- inc
- incorporate new messages from central maildrop to your account
- show
- display current message
- next
- show next message
- prev
- show previous message
- comp
- compose new message
- repl
- reply to current message
- forw
- forward current message
- scan
- list messages in current folder
- folder
- list folders
- rmm
- remove current message
- rmf
- remove folder
