Cut and Paste
The "xterm selection buffer" (or "cut & paste") allows you to pick up
text on one part of the screen and place it elsewhere in same window or
in another window. To select the text, position the mouse cursor at the
beginning of the text you which to select. Press the left mouse button
and hold it down while move the cursor over the text. The text that you
have selected will be highlighted. When you press the middle mouse
button, the text that you have selected will be placed after the
regular (not mouse) cursor.
