PROGRAMMER ANALYST III - As a senior programmer/analyst, manages the full project life cycle of complex web-based, database driven applications with campus-wide scope.  Many projects include the analysis of complex business processes and must be implemented as sophisticated workflow applications. Tasks include planning, communicating, and documenting a project implementation from its initial stages to its eventual production release.

Candidate must interview users, analyze and document user requirements, document workflow, data flow diagrams and business rules. Must design, code, test, debug and maintain multi-user administrative and other database applications in a J2EE environment using Sybase or MS SQL Server on Solaris or NT.  Resolves technical problems related to Web/HTML/JavaScript/XML, J2EE, MS SQL, Sybase SQL, and Unix.

Evaluates, tests, and recommends software upgrades, new tools, and techniques.
