At Your Service Online (AYSO)

At Your Service Online (AYSO) is an online portal managed by the UC Office of the President in Oakland. It is used by all faculty, staff, and student employees across all 10 UC campuses to manage their benefits, view paystubs, download W-2's and much more.

Because AYSO is managed by UCOP, and not OIT, it uses a separate authentication system from ours, meaning your username and password will probably be different than your UCInetID and password.

We strongly recommend you call them at (800) 888-8267 for login support.

I'm a new employee. Can I login to AYSO soon after I start working at UCI?

Unfortunately, no. It can take several days after your start date before your information is sent to UCOP. Please contact their HD at (800) 888-8267 if you think you should be able to login sooner, or if you've waited more than 1 week and are still having trouble.

I'm having trouble logging in.

Users with login issues should either use the self-service tools provided by UCOP on their website or call their HD for support at (800) 888-8267. Unfortunately the OIT Help Desk cannot assist with AYSO login issues.

I hear there's a way to sign in to AYSO with my UCInetID and password.

NOTE: This method should only be attempted by users who can already login to AYSO with their username and password.

It is possible to enable a service called UC Trust, a federated single-sign on system which allows registered users to login to AYSO using their UCInetID and password. Here's how to set it up:

  1. Login to AYSO.
  2. Select the link My Security Preferences.
  3. On the next screen, select UC Trust.
  4. Select the radio button labeled Yes, and then select Submit.
  5. Logout of AYSO and close your browser.
  6. Open your browser and visit the special UCInetID AYSO login (http://shib.service.uci.edu/ayso)
  7. The first time you access AYSO via this login, you will enter your current AYSO password.
  8. You'll then have the opportunity to create security questions and answers. You will need to remember these because the next time you login, you'll be prompted for the answer to one of these questions.
  9. You will then be prompted with the option to bypass the AYSO login, and login using your UCInetID only.

You are now setup. Going forward, whenever you login at https://shib.service.uci.edu/ayso you'll have to answer one of your security questions before you can proceed. Alternatively, when you enter your security question, you can check the box Remember this Computer and you will not have to answer the security questions anymore.

Please do not check the box if you're using a public computer, or a computer which is not yours.

I've tried the steps above and I'm still having issues

We recommend you continue your search in our comprehensive ServiceNow Knowledge Base.

If you're still having trouble, feel free to open a ticket. When doing so, please provide the following:

  • Your full name
  • Your UCInetID (the first part of your email address, not your ID number)
  • A detailed description of the issue

Failure to provide this information will delay our response.
