Data Warehouse

Data Warehouse (DWH) provides end-users with a read-only repository of administrative and business information from the campus's existing operational systems. Data is extracted at certain points in time and loaded into the Data Warehouse database from central administrative systems such as:

  • Financial System
  • Payroll System
  • Employee System
  • Purchasing System
  • Equipment System
  • Space Inventory System
  • USA Address Database from the US Post Office

How do I get access to Data Warehouse?

If you're an Active employee, then you already have access to a number of reports. If your job requires you to access the Central Office reports in DWH, please partner with your DSA or manager. They can grant you Central Office access through SAMS.

I'm having trouble running/viewing a report that I've created.

As you're creating a report (by selecting options and specifying timeframes), technically you are creating a database query. If you're having trouble running or viewing your report, just select the 'Save Query' button and give your query a name.

At that point, simply open a ticket and provide us with the name of the query. We'll assign the ticket to the DWH team, and they can load your query to see what may be causing the issue.

  • Your full name
  • Your UCInetID (the first part of your email address, not your ID number)
  • A detailed description of the issue
