WebReg FAQ

WebReg is a web-based application used by students to register for classes. Access to WebReg is limited to currently enrolled students and only during specific enrollment windows.

Check with the Registrar's Office to find out when your enrollment window is.

NOTE: We strongly recommend NOT using a mobile device to access WebReg. Use your computer instead. We've seen issues where students fail to logout of WebReg properly on mobile devices and are subsequently unable to log back in. Unfortunately the Help Desk cannot resolve this issue for you. Please wait approximately 15 minutes for your previous session to timeout before trying to log in again.

I'm getting the 'Not Authorized' error when trying to login.

  1. Try logging in using Private mode or Incognito mode in your browser.
  2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
  3. Try using another browser.
  4. Use the WebVPN or Software VPN.

I'm seeing multiple ID numbers on my record.

If you attended UCI as an undergraduate and are now enrolling for graduate school (or if you've taken any Continuing Education, Summer Session or Access UCI courses), it is likely that you'll have an ID number for each program. This is not unusual.

However, if you're having trouble enrolling for classes due to missing or incorrect information on your record, feel free to open a ticket.

I've tried the steps above and I'm still having issues
