Provide desktop Support and field support for the Office of Information Technology (OIT) clients focusing on the Apple OS X operating system. Provide primary support for desktop support call resolution via help desk.   Assists OIT clients with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines. Incumbent’s focus is to directly handle routine client desktop support. This focus includes day-to-day repair of hardware and necessary software fixes for Mac and Windows operating systems with an emphasis on the Mac environment. Provide smart phone e-mail/calendar support for clients.
