The Student Information System (SIS) Project is one of the University of California, Irvine’s priority projects to replace homegrown administrative systems with a tightly coupled, vendor-supported software solution. Under general direction of the SIS Project Director, the SIS Change, Communications and Training Manger creates and executes a higher education business readiness program for implementation across various stakeholder groups, including faculty, administrators, and staff, in preparation for system go-lives. The primary focus will be to lead actionable plans that minimize resistance, maximize engagement, and help key leaders to understand the impacts to their organizations and business procedures. The incumbent will develop and implement these comprehensive go-live readiness plans to include senior leadership alignment and key leaders from campus units, including Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Division, Financial Aid, Office of Information Technology, Registrar, Student Financials and Summer Session, among others. Incumbent is responsible for managing the Communications and Training team leads to develop, guide, and deliver programs that support the business process transformation and change implementation efforts.
