Under direction of the Director of Business Services, the Senior Human Resource Analyst will administer the staff personnel and payroll matters for the Office of Information Technology (OIT). Serving as a key resource on personnel/payroll matters, the incumbent will provide analysis, policy interpretation, advice and counsel to managers and supervisors and all members of the department.  Facilitate compliance to system-wide, campus, departmental policies and procedures and collective bargaining unit agreements. Strong, independent judgment, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills required.  Broad knowledge of human resources and payroll issues and practices, as well as an understanding of local, state and federal employment and labor laws also required. The Sr. Human Resource Analyst will coordinate the administrative processes of recruitments for the department. Ensure proper training for new employees on departmental policies and procedures. Provide training and guidance in the related areas of HIPPA Training, Departmental Benefits, Family Medical Leave, Workers Compensation and Illness and Injury Prevention Program.
