This position is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about working in a modern, mission critical production and operations environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to master the tools and processes that are required within the Office of Information Technology to support one of the Nation’s top ranked research universities. Under supervision as a member of the Production and Operations Management group within the Office of Information Technology, employee is responsible for providing ongoing operational support for the campus enterprise domain name service, the migration to an industry leading Infoblox DNS management infrastructure, and other operational duties as assigned. Employee is responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of new versions of services into the production environment. Provides ongoing management for current and legacy applications that serve the department and the campus community. Develop and maintain detailed and up-to-date project plans and documentation for new and existing services. Employee has extensive knowledge and experience managing and provisioning domain name and electronic discussion list services. P/OM staff members are responsible for providing the highest degree of support to the campus community through the implementation and deployment of services for use throughout UCI’s campus community. P/OM staff provide software development and production release support for departmental applications essential to operations throughout the department.
