This position is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about working in a modern, mission critical production and operations environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to master the tools and processes that are required within the Office of Information Technology to support one of the Nation’s top ranked research universities.  Under the supervision of the Manager and as a member of the Middleware and Application Infrastructure group within the Office of Information Technology, the Technical Support Analyst is responsible for providing ongoing operational support for homegrown applications and open-source software.  Incumbent is responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of new changes of services into the production environment.  Provides ongoing management for current and legacy applications that serve the department and the campus community.  Develop and maintain detailed and up-to-date project plans and documentation for new and existing services. Has extensive knowledge and experience managing and provisioning electronic discussion list services.  OIT staff members are responsible for providing the highest degree of support to the campus community through the implementation and deployment of services for use throughout UCI’s campus community.
