As a member of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) Academic Web Technologies Support (AWTS) group, the Technology Support Specialist will provide responsive, professional, and high-quality front-line end-user support for faculty, staff, and student users of Canvas, the primary Learning Management System (LMS) used at UC Irvine, as well as for other web applications built by the adjacent Academic Web Technologies Development (AWTD) team. Under the supervision of the Instructional Technology Support Supervisor, the incumbent requires a strong understanding of technical troubleshooting concepts, some familiarity with complex enterprise web applications, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
