Athletics IT Support Student Assistant

Do you like attending sport events? Would you like to learn and work with different technologies and development practices of UCI Athletics? At Athletics IT, we are a dedicated team responsible to provide technology solutions for sport events. We are a dynamic, diverse, and collaborative team focused on providing excellent customer service and cutting-edge technology solutions for our student athletes, coaches, and staff.
At Athletics IT, we hire student workers with a broad range of skillsets, who are ready to take on the challenges of bringing technology, processes, and people together in order to advance UCI Athletics programs towards their academic and performance goals. You will be working to support live sport events at various venues within the Athletics complex.

Job Responsibilities 
  • Act as Primary Support Contact during Athletics Events, communicating with clients, troubleshooting issues, and escalating to the appropriate technical teams
  • Asset, software, and hardware management
  • Specialized sports software installations
  • Flexible weekly hours: usually 7 to 18 hours per week
  • Most work hours are scheduled in the afternoon or evenings during weekdays
  • Must be able to work during weekend games
  • We understand your academic responsibilities come first. We offer flexibility during mid-terms and finals.
