Solstice Pods and Solstice Display Software enable users to display their smart phone, tablet, or laptop without the constraint of a cable. This allows the presenter to be more interactive and engaging with his/her audience.
Note: For better performance, we highly recommend using the provided HDMI/VGA cable.
Getting Started
The Solstice Client is required to be installed on your device and can be downloaded at https://www2.mersive.com/download/

Instructions
Now that you downloaded and installed the Solstice Client app, you can connect. Open the app and enter the appropriate information.
Connect To Solstice
Select “Enter IP” tab
Type the IP Address (located on the first “Splash Screen”) on your device as shown below
A prompt will appear asking for a key; it is located on the “Splash Screen” below the room number. Type in the key on your device as shown below
Once connected, you will be able to share your screen, media files, camera, and take video. The “Mirror Screen” or “Desktop” feature will allow you to display your presentation

Mirroring Your Screen For iOS Devices
An extra step is required to “mirror” your screen when using an iOS device (iPhone or iPad)
Once connected, select “Mirror Screen” on your Solstice Client app
A page with directions should appear
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen displaying the “Control Center” and select AirPlay/Screen Mirroring
Select the room number
Type in the same key from the “Splash Screen” you previously entered onto the “AirPlay Code” and select “OK”
Your screen should be mirrored onto the Solstice Device
Suggested Use
Display of presentations using applications such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Word. For video intensive use, it is recommended that you use the appropriate cable found in the podium. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact smartclassrooms@uci.edu or (949) 824-8833.

Netflix Displays Black Screen On Laptops
