Tririga Application Upgrade v10.6.0.5 on October 16, 2021 from 6 AM to 1 PM

Due to System Maintenance, Facilities Management online work order request (https://service.fac.uci.edu) and Room Reservation (https://oit.uci.edu/roomreservation) will not be available on Sat., 10/16/2021 from 6 am to 1 pm.

Outlet Additions in SSPA Core Site on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 3 - 9am

Purpose:

Services Affected:

On 10/16 from 3 AM til 9 AM (at the latest), FM will be working with Alex Giesler to have additional power outlets installed on the UPS and conventional power panels for the SSPA Core site. They will start with the UPS panel (taking 2-3 hours) and then move onto the conventional panel (taking 2-3 hours). During the outage, Alex Giesler will perform mitigations and power connection moves to ensure outages are short and equipment have redundant connections after the end of the change window.

Eduroam Maintenance on 10/15/21 0001-0900 ET - 10/19/21 0001-0900 ET

This is to inform you of an upcoming Internet2 NGI network upgrade maintenance impacting eduroam. You may see a network blip while we get brand shiny new Internet2 network backbone links. Facilities will be performing their monthly ATS/Generator test. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 7 - 9am

On Thursday10/21, Facilities will be performing their monthly ATS/Generator test for both the Engineering Gateway building and the OIT Data Center generators. They will start at approximately 7 AM and finish by 9 AM. The work is expected to be non-disruptive.

Upgrade of MiCollab SW to 9.3 SP1 on Friday, October 22, 2021, from 7-10pm

Purpose:

Services Affected:

On Friday, 10/22/21 ​from 7pm - 10pm, OIT will perform software maintenance on the MiCollab softphone system. During this period, the MiCollab softphone system may not be available. (Other types of campus telephones and lines will not be affected.)
After the upgrade, MiCollab users using PC and macOS software clients may be prompted to upgrade to version 9.3. Users with admin rights on their computers will be able to upgrade by clicking "yes" when prompted. Users who are unable to upgrade, due to restricted admin rights, should contact their computer support staff.

Applying hot fix for MICCE on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 7 - 8pm

MICCE server will be restarted for maintenance purposes. Estimated downtime 15-30 minutes, beginning at 7:00 pm, 10-06-21.
