Upgrade ArcGIS Pro License File on September 24, 2020 from 8 - 9am

Purpose:

Services Affected:

During the maintenance window, users in computer labs & instructional labs running ArcGIS Pro will be unable to checkout licenses from our campus license server. Standalone users will NOT be affected.

Migrate EECS data from Netapp to NFS server on September 25, 2020 from 6 - 10pm

‘Standby’ Exchange Server scheduled maintenance on October 1, 2020 from 6 - 9pm

The Windows Service Group will be performing maintenance on the standby exchange server the night of Aug 13th between 6 PM and 9 PM.

Upgrade MATLAB classroom network license on flexlm2 to 2020b on September 24, 2020 from 8 - 9am

Purpose:

The campus license server for MATLAB (used in classrooms and OIT managed labs) will be briefly unavailable during the maintenance window.

Major Maintenance Window for Campus Border Equipment and Internet Access on September 22, 2020 from 2am - 6am

Purpose:

Services Affected:

To ensure a positive remote learning experience with Zoom and related services, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) is doubling internet bandwidth for on-campus students. This upgrade requires us to take our connection to the internet down for a brief period of time on Tuesday, September 22 between 2am and 6am.

Wired and wireless internet services for all campus and residential housing, including the UCI Medical Center, will be impacted during this upgrade window. During this time, all inbound and outbound connections to the internet will be unreliable and virtual private network (VPN) services will be unavailable.

Facilities Management HVAC will perform preventative maintenance at OITDC on September 19, 2020 from 6 - 12pm

Purpose:

Services Affected:

Saturday 9/19 from approximately 6 AM to 12 PM Facilities Management's HVAC team will perform preventative maintenance at OITDC (Engineering Gateway). The work will be non-disruptive to normal operation of the HVAC units. All air filters will be replaced. All air handlers, valves, and systems will be inspected.

Adobe Admin Console scheduled maintenance on September 17, 2020 from 5 - 730am

Purpose:

Services Affected:

We will perform routine maintenance on the Adobe Administrative Console. During the brief maintenance window, no new Adobe licenses can be assigned and anyone who attempts to login to an Adobe product to activate a license will be unsuccessful and will need to try again afterwards.
