Emergency config update on cpl-service on July 7, 2020 from 5 - 530pm

Purpose:

There will be a brief 1-2 minute outage for IDM and service degradation for campus DHCP and DNS while an emergency configuration update is applied on cpl-service.gw.ucinet.uci.edu in the CPL data center.

Reboot voyager.oit.uci.edu on July 9, 2020 from 1:30 - 2:30pm

Purpose:

Services Affected:

There will be a brief outages on voyager.oit.uci.edu for rebooting to mitigate kernel vulnerabilities.

Reboot hubble.oit.uci.edu on July 7, 2020 from 2 - 3pm

Purpose:

Services Affected:

There will be a short outage of service from hubble.oit.uci.edu due to rebooting to mitigate security issues.

UCI Lightpath Power Supply Connection Change on July 9, 2020 from 7 - 7:30am

Purpose:

Services Affected:

On 7/9/20 we will be moving a redundant power connection from a UPS-supported PDU outlet to another UPS-supported PDU's outlet. This change is necessary due to a suspected failed UPS-Supported PDU outlet which resulted in a brief outage upon the failure of campus (Edison) power in the end of June; this power connection move is to avoid future outages such as this.

At 7 AM, the power connection will be moved to a new UPS-supported PDU's outlet. Once it's confirmed that the power supply is functioning again, the change will be complete.

We will not be touching the functional campus power connection, so there should be no outages on the 321nb-lpsa (UCI Lightpath) switch expected.

Police Department Data Room Outlet Relocation on July 13, 2020 from 730 - 1030am

Purpose:

Services Affected:

On 7/13/20 from about 7:30 AM until approximately 10:30 AM, electricians will be working to extend two existing outlets and rewiring them to reach several feet further than their current position. These outlets are fed from a new UPS panel with no other outlets attached to it, so there should be no other equipment in the data room affected by this work.

Patch Roundcube Mail (Webmail) to v1.3.14 for security vulnerabilities on July 7, 2020 from 6 - 10pm

Re-license Office 365 Users to be inline with MCAA orders on July 8, 2020 from 6 - 7am and July 15, 2020 from 6 - 7am

Office 365 users in our tenant will be licensed with one of the following licenses depending on what their MCAA status is.
A5 - Sensitive departments.
A3 - Standard end user MCAA paid for
A1 - Light user, does not typically use a computer in work.

July 8th at 6 AM Managed users assigned new licenses
July 15th at 6 AM Nonmanaged users assigned new licenses
