Campus Radio System Q4 2019 patching

To all Campus Radio System Users,

Monday 11/18 starting at 7am Motorola Technical Support will be applying 4th Quarter patches to our radio system servers. The radio system for a period of time will fall back to Site Trunking, however the system will still continue to operate normally. This maintenance will not impact the Medical Center radio system.

UCI Police Department Dispatch will be operating on their back up radio resources. If you have a non-emergency Police request, please contact UCIPD via phone at 949-824-5223. The Campus Emergency radio channel will be monitored during this maintenance. Please call 911 at any time if you have police, fire, or medical emergency.

Please use your radio as you normally do on a daily basis. The maintenance window is from 7am-12pm however certain software packages can or may be upgraded and be transparent to end users.
