Date(s): Tuesday, October 9th from 7pm to 11pm

Purpose: Scheduled Maintenance

Services Affected:

The San Diego SuperComputer Center (SDSC) has scheduled the second half of their core networking maintenance for Tuesday, October 9th starting at 1900 PDT. This maintenance window is to do the physical link moves of their Top-of-Rack switches, as well as customer direct-core connections, and their 10G fabric switch.

Each move will be a brief interruption to traffic of no longer than a couple minutes while fiber is physically moved from the old Arista core to the new Juniper QFX core.

UCI Impact:
Ø Local interfaces and traffic between systems at SDSC will not be affected because traffic will stay active between our switches and firewall.
