The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides telephone, network, and computing services in support of research and education at UCI. OIT provides central computing services, computer laboratories, departmental and research-group support services, and campus wide technical coordination. The campus network infrastructure maintained by OIT provides connectivity on campus and to the Internet.

2015-2016 Administrative Support

  2. Facilities Demand Maintenance and Service Desk – 4,000 requests and work orders per month (Spring qtr)
  3. Kuali Financial Systems processed more than $33 billion dollars annually for fiscal year 2015-2016 of GL, AP/Purchasing, Fixed Assets, Budget, and Travel & Entertainment.
  4. Student Financial Systems processed more than $1.84 billion dollars annually for fiscal year 2015-2016 to bill over 30,000 students, apply and disburse financial aid, take payments, and collect debts
  5. UCI Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence – decision support/analytics – 30,562 user ad-hoc queries/day; 866,309 3 total queries in August 2015
  6. UCI Decision Support (Cognos/KFS)- June 2016- 758 Unique Users; 353,116 Total Report Requests; 135,555 Total KFS Report Requests
