  • Cornerstone Service Degradation

    Our admins are aware of a Cornerstone service degradation affecting UCI AchieveOnline (http://hr.uci.edu/partnership/achieveonline/). When attempting to login, some users receive error message “an error occurred while processing your request.” There is no ETA at this time.

  • OIT Data Center Cooling System Degradation

    An issue with the cooling system in the Data Center has been discovered, and services hosted within it may be impacted. Our technicians are aware of the situation and are currently investigating, but no ETA is available at this time. More information will be provided once it is available.

    Resolution:

    There had been a chill water pressure drop, which resulted in the primary HVAC going offline. The backup HVAC came online but did not have enough capacity to support the entire data center, resulting in an overheat situation that caused several servers to go offline.

    The situation is now resolved, and our technicians will be investigating the root cause.
