UPDATE 1530. Campus VPN & Group UCInetID – Service Degradation


UPDATE 1530. The admins have identified the issue and will have a permanent fix in place by Friday. Until then, you may open a ticket with OIT asking for a manual override to allow your Group UCInetID to access the VPN. Thank you for your patience.

We are investigating reports of an issue affecting Group UCInetIDs and the VPN. Users are reporting that they are seeing a “login failed” error whenever they try to authenticate via the Software VPN or the WebVPN.

The issue is not with the UCInetID or password, but appears to be related to an issue with the OIT LDAP system. Also, no other UCInetID types are affected: only Group UCInetIDs. Thanks for your patience.
