UPDATE 1330. Canvas service degradation

Description:

UPDATE 1330. The AWT Team is also in touch with EUS. After further investigation, it appears that many of AWT’s servers are unable to access NFS/NIS shared directories and are unable to upload data to Canvas.

UPDATE 1300. The AWT Team has reached out to DCE’s Registrar IT team to investigate. Thank you for your patience.

UPDATE 1230. ** To clarify, EEE is unaffected and Canvas (in general) appears to be unaffected. **  The specific issue being reported today is, some DCE students who are taking classes through the Concurrent Enrollment program are reporting seeing ‘Access Denied’ when they attempt to access a couple of their course spaces on UCI’s instance of Canvas. The AWT team is investigating the root cause.

We are investigating reports of a canvas service degradation. Specifically, some DCE students are reporting seeing ‘Access Denied’ when they attempt to access a couple of their course pages. No ETA at this time.
