UPDATE 12/21. OIT recommends using Firefox ESR for the time being until the vendor can address the issue with Quantum. Please partner with your local IT support for help with obtaining a copy of Firefox ESR.
Please be aware that Firefox Quantum (57.0) has compatibility issues with Cognos. So far it seems that end users running reports on the portal are not affected, but anyone developing or running reports within the Cognos environment itself (i.e. Cognos Report Studio) cannot save or run reports (the system will throw line & column number errors).
IBM has not announced a fix yet, nor a timeline for one. In the interim, please use a different browser.
