Commodity internet service degradation


UPDATE 1650. Service has been partially restored. The majority of tickets we’ve seen thus far are from non-Office 365 users getting NDRs (non-delivery reports aka bouncebacks) when they try to email an Office 365 user. Our admins are still investigating.

We are investigating reports of a commodity internet service degradation. Some users are reporting slow load times or timeouts when attempting to reach websites hosted on off-campus internet resources, such as Amazon Web Services, Office 365, Canvas, and others.

Network service has been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Any emails that you may have attempted to send that returned as undeliverable will need to be resent. Zotmail messages will be delivered, but there may be some delays as there is most likely a backlog of emails that are still waiting to be sent. Thank you again for your patience.
