UPDATE 800. Microsoft Teams service degradation


UPDATE 800. Microsoft has identified the root cause and has almost full restored service. The web/thin client & mobile clients appear to be working normally, but we’re still seeing lingering issues with the desktop/thick client.

We are investigating reports of an MS Teams service degradation. Users are unable to send direct messages or post to channels. The issue is affecting many of Microsoft’s customers and they are aware and investigating.

The issue does NOT appear to be affecting other Office 365 services and seems to be limited to just MS Teams.
