UPDATE 1000. UCInet Campus Network Service Degradation


UPDATE 1000. OIT has determined that the network issue is caused by upstream network problems between Spectrum (an ISP used by some of our users) and CENIC, our campus network provider. There are no on-campus network issues to report, and most users who are off-campus are having no trouble connecting to UCI services. CENIC is working with Spectrum to resolve the issue, and OIT will continue to monitor the situation.

We have received reports of a UCInet Campus Network service degradation. Users are unable to access various UCI websites and the UCI VPN, while some users are able to connect albeit the connection is slower than normal. Our admins are investigating into the issue.

No ETA at this time.
