UPDATE 1030. UCInetID Password Change tool service degradation

UPDATE 1030. We received calls from users who were having trouble using the UCInetID Password Change tool to activate their UCInetIDs or to reset/change their UCInetID passwords. Users were reporting seeing the error “a timeout occurred, probably due to a busy server”. After further investigation, the IDM team has confirmed the issue to be Kerberos-related and they are investigating.
