Zoom service degradation


UPDATE 1045: According to the vendor, the issue some users are having with call quality and dropouts during the calls *may* have to do with the fact that they’re running a slightly older version of the Zoom thick client on their machines. Zoom suggests rolling them up to the latest and greatest version to see if that resolves the issue. DSS is aware of the problem and will make arrangements soon to push the latest versions to the individuals who’ve report an issue so they can test it out.

We are investigating reports of a Zoom service degradation. Users are reporting that the call quality is poor and/or there is a noticeable lag in service, resulting in numerous dropouts during the call. No ETA at this time.
