Microsoft’s Enterprise Skills Initiative, Now Available

by | Apr 28, 2021 | News

Access to Microsoft’s Enterprise Skills Initiative is now available to UCI faculty and staff at no cost. This free resource is for anyone interested in growing their skills in AI engineering, business intelligence or data. Access to this training platform typically costs several thousand dollars a year.

Through the Enterprise Skills Initiative, participants can access training on Microsoft Azure, with both self-paced and instructor-led classes available. Numerous certificate programs are also available, bolstered with separate exam prep courses as well. All offerings are hosted by official Microsoft trainers or learning partners and are available through their self-service portal.

Learning pathways are set up to encourage users to take classes, prep for exams, and ultimately gain certification on specific topics, but the path you take is up to you.

If you hold one of the following roles (or would like to in the future), there’s content tailored specifically for you:

  • AI Engineer
  • Data Engineer
  • Data Scientist
  • Dev Ops Engineer
  • Securities Engineer
  • Solutions Architect
  • Developer
  • Administrator
  • Functional Consultant
  • Data Analyst
