Scheduled Telephone System Outage, December 13-14.

  • All campus Mitel phone services including telephones, MiCollab softphones, analog phone lines, voicemail, MICCE ACD call center, automated attendant/call trees, emergency phones and elevator phones will be intermittently affected during the maintenance period.
  • Analog lines connected to equipment such as fire alarms, security alarm systems, fax machines, and other equipment that relies on analog lines will be affected.
  • Non-emergency phone calls to UCIPD will be affected.
  • If your computer is connected to the campus network via your desk phone, it will experience temporary loss of network connectivity.
  • 911 calls to the UCIPD from off-campus phones, such as cell phones and landlines will continue to function normally.
  • No impact to the UCI Medical Center phone system in Orange.
  • No impact to Teams phone service.
  • No impact to AT&T phone lines that are not on the campus phone system.
