New Employees

It can take up to three business days after your start date before HR receives your information from the payroll system and you can access UCLC. Neither HR nor the Help Desk is able to expedite this process and there are no exceptions. Check with your supervisor to find out what start date was entered into payroll.

If your supervisor gave you a deadline to complete training, they will understand that the process cannot be expedited. If they have questions, they can email the Employee Experience Center (EEC).

Students & Guests

Students & Guests are not able to use the UCLC until they fill out the Student and Affiliate Access Request Form first. After submitting the form, it will take HR (who receives that form) two business days to process. They are unable to expedite this process and there are no exceptions.

If your supervisor gave you a deadline to complete training, please inform them when you've filled out the form. They will understand that the process cannot be expedited. If they have questions, they can email the Employee Experience Center (EEC).

NOTE: Students only get temporary access for at most 2-3 months. If you try logging in and it says 'your account is not active,' simply fill out the form Student and Affiliate Access Request Form again.

If you are an established UCI employee (or completed the Affiliate Access Request Form) and still unable to sign into UCLC, you may have to reset your UCInetID password.

I received an 'Unable to provision your account' error message

You will need to submit a Student and Affiliate Access Request Form first before accessing the UCLC. Please see 'Students & Guests' for additional information.

Annual Training for UCIMC Employees

The Health Sciences Human Resources Department at the UCI Medical Center requires its employees to complete Annual Training in UCLC.

I'm at the VA Hospital in Long Beach and having trouble logging in

Due to network security restrictions that are beyond our control, users cannot access the UCLC from the VA Hospital unless they use the WebVPN. For help using the WebVPN, visit this link.

I having trouble accessing a particular module

If you're having problems with a specific learning module in UCLC, feel free to open a ticket with the Employee Experience Center (EEC). When doing so, please provide the following:

  • Your full name
  • Your UCInetID (the first part of your email address, not your ID number)
  • A detailed description of the issue (including what web browser you're using and your location).

Failure to provide this information will delay our response.
