Planned Maintenance

Scheduled for: Friday, May 10, 2024 at 9:00 PM to Friday, May 10, 2024 at 10:00 PMDetails:
NetOps and Security teams are scheduled to upgrade our network infrastructure by relocating our critical network appliances to new, more robust routers. This process will start at 9:00 PM Pacific on Friday, 5/10. Specifically, we will be migrating:
- A pair of primary campus VPN appliances
- A pair of research firewalls
- A standalone secondary VPN2 appliance
Thanks to the advanced setup of the primary VPN hardware, we expect that the upgrade process will be seamless and likely unnoticed by our community. Nevertheless, during the migration of the secondary VPN2 appliance, everyone connected to it will experience a short disconnection.
To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend avoiding the use of VPN2 during the maintenance period. Instead, please utilize the primary Campus VPN, which should offer uninterrupted service during this time.
